Blueprint Landscape Lifestyle Design is a full service Landscape Design and Build company. From the initial consultation to final installation, Blueprint serves as a single point of contact throughout the process to coordinate the various contractors and artisans necessary to execute the shared vision of client and designer.
Owner and Principal, Brian Gulbrandsen ASLA, ISA, brings over twenty years of experience in Residential and Commercial Landscape Design, Historic Landscape Restoration and Arboriculture to the Landscape Design process. Brian is a 2001 graduate of Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, where he earned a B.S. in Landscape Architecture with a concentration in American and European Landscape History.
The first quarter of his post-university career was spent within the discipline of Historic Landscape Restoration on such projects as the Samuel F. B. Morse estate in Poughkeepsie, NY, Goodspeed Garden in Cooperstown, NY and Greenwood Gardens in Short Hills, NJ, among others. Following that, Brian worked for Daniel Sherman, Landscape Architect in Westchester County, NY, specializing in high-end residential design of properties in that region as well as the Hamptons, Long Island. Before starting his own company, Brian worked for Groundswell Design Group, based out of Hopewell, NJ, designing high-end residential landscapes mainly in Mercer and Bucks Counties, as well as residence and restaurant spaces in Philadelphia, PA.
Brian is well-rounded in all aspects of Landscape Architecture, while having a specialties in Historic Landscape Restoration, Sustainable Landscape Design, and Low-Maintenance/Deer Resistant Landscapes. Brian resides in Hopewell, NJ with his wife Marianne and their two young boys, Patrick and Connor. In addition to his everyday passion for Landscape Architecture, he also enjoys fishing, photography, organic gardening and custom woodworking.
